About the Organization

The Medical Clinic is the largest clinic in Södermanland and operates in hematology, general internal medicine including acute care (emergency department and AVA), cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, nephrology, gastroenterology, SSIH/palliative care, and neurology/stroke.

The hematology section is responsible for qualified investigation, care, and treatment of patients with hematological diseases. The operation includes both outpatient and inpatient care. The department shares facilities with the oncology clinic and includes care for patients with acute leukemias and other conditions requiring inpatient specialist care.

The section currently consists of five specialist doctors and three resident doctors. We are now looking for an additional specialist doctor who wishes to contribute to and further develop the operations.

Your Responsibilities

As a specialist doctor in hematology, you will perform standard tasks in both outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities include:

• Outpatient care in hematology
• Inpatient work including rounds
• Participation in the section's hematological on-call line every day of the week
• Remote rounds during weekends according to the current on-call setup

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in hematology and a double specialty in internal medicine.

• Furthermore, we see that you:
• Have good collaboration skills and high professional integrity
• Possess well-developed communication skills in interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues
• Have documented knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the EU's self-assessment scale

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
